Drosera scorpioides or shaggy sundew, is a pygmy sundew native to the Jarrah Forest region and southern coasts of Southwest Australia. We grow these along with our highland Nepenthes under lights. Very easy.
dry summers induce dormancy, but  active growth will start again in the cool of  fall with more moisture. At this phase, the plant will produce several modified leaves called gemmae. The gemmae can be collected and planted up to make more plants.

Intermediate conditions. Bright, indirect light. Distilled/RO water.

Drosera or sundews are one of the largest groups of carnivorous plants. With nearly 200 species ranging from highland to lowland types.  Most prefer growing in acidic peat and sand-based soils.
