Nepenthes barcelonae is a rare, critically endangered species endemic to the island of Luzon in the Philippines. It’s found growing in submontane forest at altitudes of 1500-1700m in the Sierra Madre Mountains. It was only recently described in 2014.

This plant prefers intermediate to highland conditions.
