Sarracenia 'Judith Hindle' is a classic Sarracenia cultivar selected for its beauty and vigor. The parents are two different clones of S. (purpurea x flava) x leucophylla. Pitchers on 'Judith Hindle' open up green with beautiful white light windows on the lid. As they age, the pitcher bodies become glowing red and eventually darken to deep plum. 'Judith Hindle' is a strong grower spring through autumn and maintains its pitchers well throughout dormancy if winter conditions are mild.
Sarracenia, also known as American Pitcher Plants, grow in boggy, open savannas in the southeastern United States.
