Nepenthes veitchii (k)  a horticultural grex of the species with exceptional parents!  It was created by Exotica Plants in Australia.

This plant prefers intermediate conditions.  It should be kept between 78-84F  in the day and would benefit from  nights in the '60s.  Nepenthes can acclimate to lower humidity levels, although the best results will be seen with a relative humidity range between 75-80%. Bright, indirect light, and pure water.

Nepenthes veitchii is endemic to Borneo and there are both highland and lowland varieties. Most prefer intermediate/highland conditions.

Nepenthes or tropical pitcher plants are primarily native to Southeast Asia.  There are roughly 180 species, with many recently discovered in the 20th century. They grow anywhere from hot, sticky jungles to chill mountain tops high above the clouds. Tho Nepenthes were once thought to be difficult to grow, this is far from the truth. Most plants have adapted to cultivation quite well and the hobby is growing quickly. In fact, most tropical pitcher plant species and hybrids will thrive between 60-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Check out our Nepenthes care tips here.  For an in-depth look at different species and their temperature requirements take a look at this guide. Bred by Exotica years ago, veitchii (k) remains a popular clone amongst collectors! The color is more intense in cooler temperatures. Exact plant in the images. Shipped with roots in sphagnum. Seed-grown.
