We used some colorful parents with great genetics on this one and they are proving to show consistent dramatic traits!

The main image shows the parents. Shipped potted. Seed-grown.

This plant prefers intermediate conditions.  It should be kept between 78F-84F in the day and would benefit from nights in the 60s.  Nepenthes can acclimate to lower humidity levels, although the best results will be seen with a relative humidity range between 75-80%. Bright, indirect light, and pure water.

This is a seed-grown tropical pitcher plant for sale. It's an in-house creation from the Redleaf Exotics breeding program. Our collection consists of prime breeding stock and we selectively breed for size, color, and unique traits. Redleaf Exotics is also the USA's exclusive distributor for the world's greatest Nepenthes nursery, Exotica Plants! With over 30 years of breeding experience, they choose the best traits which yield the most beautiful hybrids and species cultivars in cultivation. Our collection is built from their most sought-after cultivars and seed-grown variants. Check back often for the latest Nepenthes for sale.

Nepenthes are primarily native to Southeast Asia. There are roughly 180 species, with many recently discovered in the 20th century. They grow anywhere from hot, sticky jungles to chill mountain tops high above the clouds. Though Nepenthes were once thought to be difficult to grow, this is far from the truth. Most plants have adapted to cultivation quite well and the hobby is growing quickly. In fact, most tropical pitcher plant species and hybrids will thrive between 60-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Check out our Nepenthes care tips here. For an in-depth look at different species and their temperature requirements take a look at this guide.
