Nepenthes platychila is endemic to the Hose Mountains of central Sarawak in Borneo. It produces some of the most unique upper pitchers in the genus! The peristomes are flared and smooth! Quite spectacular!

This plant prefers Intermediate condition. It should be kept between 75-85F in the day and would benefit from cooler nights on the 60’s. Nepenthes can acclimate to lower humidity levels, although the best results will be seen in 70-80% range. Bright, indirect light and pure water.
