Nepenthes 'Sabre' = ventricosa x (lowii x macrophylla) EP. One of the best forms of the grex out there and it’s a female! It boasts huge red lowers and golden uppers. The peristome remains flared and toothy on this one, almost like a saucer. A MUST have for the serious collector!

The main image shows the exact clone we are offering cuttings of.  The exact cutting can be seen in the secondary images. Shipped bare root. Seed-grown

This plant prefers intermediate/highland conditions.  It should be kept between 80-84F  in the day and could benefit from cooler nights in the low 60s'. Nepenthes can acclimate to lower humidity levels, although the best results will be seen with a relative humidity range between 70-80%. Bright, indirect light, and pure water.

Exotica Plants is the world leader in Nepenthes hybridization and Redleaf Exotics is their exclusive distributor. With over 30 years of breeding experience, they have produced the most beautiful hybrids and species cultivars in cultivation. If you're a novice or serious collector, Exotica Plants Nepenthes are a must-have! Check back often for our latest Nepenthes availability.

Nepenthes are primarily native to Southeast Asia.  There are roughly 180 species, with many recently discovered in the 20th century. They grow anywhere from hot, sticky jungles to chill mountain tops high above the clouds. Though Nepenthes were once thought to be difficult to grow, this is far from the truth. Most plants have adapted to cultivation quite well and the hobby is growing quickly. In fact, most tropical pitcher plant species and hybrids will thrive between 60-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Check out our Nepenthes care tips here.  For an in-depth look at different species and their temperature requirements take a look at this guide.
