Drosera adelae is a native to Queensland, Australia. It's known as one of "3 Sisters of Queensland," as it's 1 of 2 other species (adelae and prolifera) found in the tropical rainforests of Hinchinbrook Island in Queensland. This species can be more temperamental, requiring less light than other Drosera and very high humidity. We find they do well in pure akadama.
Intermediate conditions. Bright, indirect light. Distilled/RO water.
Drosera or sundews are one of the largest groups of carnivorous plants. With nearly 200 species ranging from highland to lowland types. Most prefer growing in acidic peat and sand-based soils.
