WOW! I’m beyond excited to be able to offer seed-grown plants of this elusive species made right here at Redleaf! This is the second successful pollination in the world and 1st in the USA! It was such a surprise when our mother plant bloomed and we were able to strike luck with just one of seven flowers. These are growing fast! They seem to do well in lowland or intermediate/highland with no issues. Free draining soil-based mix and slow-release keep these going strong. If you can grow a monstera, you can grow one of these.
This spectacular Aroid is native to the Brazilian state of Espirito Santo and nearly extinct in its native habitat. They mainly grow as epiphytes, producing long strap-like leaves that are a stunning glaucus blue-green color. Our specimen has reached lengths of roughy 4' for us. It's definitely the star of the show amongst the other plants and nothing comes close to its unique appearance. LIMITED!
